Participate in the newest outdoor adventure sport called Geocaching,
but with a twist - we kayak to our hidden treasure. Learn to
use a GPS unit and embark on an adventure to find hidden caches
accessible only by water. Who knows what kind of treasure we
might find!
3 Ships & a Kayak
3 hours -
Jamestown Island and the surrounding area provides all levels of
kayakers with unique paddling opportunities. Experience
Jamestown's history from a different perspective - the water!
Picnic & Paddle
3 hours -
This fascinating harbor is a naturalist's dream! Paddle
through calm, shallow waters to a secluded beach, perfect for a
picnic and a quick dip. Meander up narrow creeks on the return
as we hunt for the resident eagle's nest. Great for families,
novices, and experienced paddlers alike. BYOL (Bring your own
lunch).
Pyrotechnic Paddle
3 hours -
Spend your July 4th evening on the water, where the stars are our
fireworks display. Calm, protected waters with no boat
traffic should make for a safe, memorable experience as we celebrate
our nation's birthday.
Goin' to the Chapel / Fall Colors Tour
3 hours - Enjoy a leisurely paddle
to enchanting, secluded Chapel Creek where Egrets, Kingfishers, and
even the elusive Clapper Rail may be seen. Return to a local restaurant for
a spectacular seafood brunch in a relaxed setting. Price of
brunch not included in tour fee. See

Island Breezes
3 hours - Steamboat wharves, sheltered coves, and lessons on the
maritime history of the area make this tour a great escape.
Relax at the waterfront seafood restaurant afterwards.
Life is surely good! Lunch is optional; price not included in
tour fee.

and all necessary gear. Single and tandem kayaks available. NO prior
experience necessary; suitable for ages six to ninety-six.

Lighthouse
Island Tour
3 hours - Suitable for all skill levels. One of our most
popular tours, we depart from a quaint fishing village and paddle to
New Point Comfort Lighthouse, one of the oldest lighthouses on the
Chesapeake Bay. Expect to view dolphins, marine birds and more!
Blueberries & Boats
3 hours - Got
the summertime blues? This tour will cure them! Paddle to a
waterfront blueberry farm and pick berries to your heart's content.
We also receive a demonstration on oyster farming Mathews County
style. Amble up a creek or two afterwards and say goodbye to the
summertime blues!
Full Moon/Owl Moon/Star
Gazing Tour
3 hours - Night time paddling
at its best. Explore a shallow estuary by the light of the
moon.
Marshes and
Mansions
3 hours - Suitable for all skill levels. Following a former
steamboat route, we paddle back in time past exquisite mansions, an
historic tide mill and steamboat wharves. Absorb the history behind
these 18th century estates as we explore quiet coves off the East
River.
Up a
Creek
3
hours - Williamsburg at its best! Journey up this tidal creek and
view centuries old bald cypress, kingfishers, resurrection fern and
more. Great for beginners.
Poddery Paddle
3 hours - We know how to
"throw" a great tour! Paddle the East River headwaters from a
local pottery; stay for the post-paddle studio tour.
Fossil Find Tour
3 hours -
Roam through narrow channels as we explore a protected tidal
creek, searching for fossil beds along the way.
Seashore
Secrets
5 - 6 hours -
This full day tour takes
us through unspoiled and unexplored waterways to a sandy beach where
we indulge in a catered picnic lunch. We forge on to explore
secluded tidal areas teeming with wildlife and breathtaking
beauty. For those who delight in serenity and solitude.
Classes & Camps:
Kayaking Skills Class
3 hours - Learn wet exits, stroke techniques, self rescues, two person rescues
and more. Increase your skills and knowledge (and confidence) with
this course.
Rescue Class
3 hours - Learn wet exits,
self rescues, two
person rescues in an indoor
controlled environment. Build confidence through learning in a
heated swimming pool with a personal instructor.
Kids Kayak Camp
Get ready for two fun-filled
days as participants learn to practice paddling skills through
on-the-water games. Each camp session has a daily focus which
will incorporate water safety, environmental education, and maritime
history themes through nature crafts, games, and paddling! Children
ages 7-13 may participate in these full day camps from 9:30 a.m. to
3:00 p.m. each day. $85.00 per participant per camp.
